Nick Hart, the Founder of Spencer Hart, has been an entrepreneur in luxury menswear his whole life. Having started his career working in a tailor’s shop in Berkshire at the age of 13 and by 18, running his own Italian brand, importing luxury menswear to the UK. Having reinvented a series of iconic British brands and operated at board level at international brands such as Kenzo. Nick, opened his first store on Savile Row in 2002 to critical acclaim. After being invited to open shops in Bergdorf Goodman, Isetan, Selfridges and Liberty, he went on to open a huge luxury lifestyle store on Brook Street in the heart of Mayfair in 2011. Nick also developed an affordable diffusion line for young people who were shopping online and was invited by ASOS to create a brand for them named HART HOLLYWOOD, to be stocked on their platform. This global presence lead to being approached by The California Tourist Board to produce a short film to address Nick’s love of California and old school Hollywood. In 2015, Nick designed THE WARDROBE by Spencer Hart to solve a very relevant and pertinent problem for the times we live in. Working with Andrew Lendon, a 25 year veteran of top British menswear pioneer and luxury brand Paul Smith, Spencer Hart launched The Wardrobe in 2018.
