On Tuesday 29thJanuary, we held our first Adoreum Club Breakfast of 2019 with guest speaker Sir Clive Woodward.
Our guest speaker Sir Clive, spoke about creating a Winning Culture with the teams he has been involved with from England Rugby and Team GB to what he is now doing with the next generation of Alpine Skiers for the Apex2100 International Ski Academy. During the talk Sir Clive explained about the importance of a 4D learning method and technique. Background on Sir Clive Woodward: Sir Clive is a former England International and British Lion himself and during his tenure as Head Coach, England moved from 6th in the world to being the number one ranked team, winning every trophy an England team could possibly win. In 2006 Clive joined the British Olympic Association. As Team GB’s Director of Sport, he worked in close partnership with key stakeholders in British Sport to support the national coaches and athletes at the Beijing & Vancouver Olympics as well as deliver Team GB’s most successful Olympic Games in the modern era at London 2012. Clive is currently the Founder and Chairman of Hive learning – an app which has digested Clive’s coaching methods and is designed to improve the quality of learning in business and sport and the Director of Sport for the APEX2100 International Ski Academy which aims to become the World’s Leading High-Performance Academy for young, aspiring athletes wanting to achieve their goals in Alpine Skiing.
